I’m currently at Voyager Ventures working on an assortment of special projects across portfolio support, marketing, and AI tooling.
When I was 21, I founded General Proxy (fka Godling), where I worked closely with founders & fund managers to help them close their rounds. We incorporated the same day CNN declared COVID-19 as a pandemic and within six months hit 7-figures in revenue. Our work helped companies raise from a16z, USV, Lightspeed, Khosla, Lux, and most of the major funds across the ecosystem. Over 4 years, we helped 70+ CEOs raise $3.5B+ in capital. For this, Forbes honored me onto their 30 under 30 list.
In addition to our fundraising practice, General Proxy served founders as a creative agency. Our team grew to 20+ people at its peak and worked with 100+ startups, some now unicorns, and a few Fortune 500s.
For a year, I considered a career in finance and helped start a credit fund called Lafayette Square. I worked with the CEO to close our initial equity raise of $100M and later join as their Director of Brand (employee #7). Over the next 12 months, we grew to 90+ people and raised $500M more. Ultimately, I realized that finance wasn’t for me.
The years before that was spent as a self-taught designer. I do little design now, and only for that and those I love. Otherwise, you can find me in my studio working on a new sculpture or my kitchen working on a new dish.
I’ve settled in NY. Though part of my heart is still in Florence with my art and in China with my grandparents.
I’ve had two stints at venture funds: joining Also Capital (Deeptech + AI) at inception as a Venture Partner and Voyager Ventures (Energy + Physical AI) in a Special Projects capacity.
Now, I just angel into pre-seed and seed-stage startups. Since 2019, I’ve invested in a dozen companies & funds.
